Jittabugs is a company that is a one stop shop for quality Pre-School Activity Classes with tailored classes for newborns upwards. Jittabugs is the perfect way to run and develop your own business.

Whether it’s one of  baby sign & play classes or a calming baby massage or yoga class, Jittabugs is the place to find it!  It’s a one stop shop for everything a parent could want to do with their pre-schooler.  We provide classes in the community at local venues, private classes for groups of friends, classes at private day nurseries and even classes at local Surestart Children Centres.  

Our classes are specifically tailored for little ones and adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines, which means not only are they highly entertaining and stimulating, they are educational too. So you can guarantee your child is learning while playing!

We are currently offering Jittabugs as an easy, low cost franchise, making it ideal for mums to run so you can spend more time with your own children and run your own business, with your own working hours. 

Work Description:

You can become a pre- school tutor by becoming a baby Massage instructor or a baby Yoga instructor or even teach baby Sign & Multi-sensory Play, or Movement and Music or if you are a trained performer Jittabugs offers a franchise in Jittabugs Theatre School. We also have added adult classes to our list of programs.  YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO JITTABUGS WOULD BE-

All we ask is for the following:-

• You are experienced with children either as a parent or childcare worker
• You are self motivated enough to run your own business
• You enjoy working with a team of like minded people
• You liaise with the Jittabugs Office regularly
• You provide us with your details for the Jittabugs website
• You enjoy meeting with mothers and converse easily with them
• You use the Jittabugs details whenever promoting your business
• You provide information on your classes on a regular basis
• You deliver good quality classes, in accordance with the Jittabugs lesson plans
• You report any accidents involving children attending your class and send us a copy of accident report form within 7days of the report been completed
• You set up a standing order payment for the monthly fee/s or pay in full the license fee, payable after one year’s trading.

Investment required:

£5000 start up costs including start up equipment

Ongoing Financial Commitment:

3 MONTHS PAYMENT FREE TO GET YOU ON YOUR FEET THEN £20 A MONTH

Earning Potential:

£600 A WEEK IS EASILY POSSIBLY. I EARN £600 A WEEK AND I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD SON.

TUTOR A

  Her room hire costs her £10

My name is Yvonne and I am mum to two kids aged 2 and 5. I’ve been running Baby Sign & Play classes for nearly two years now.

I decided to take on the franchise because when my son was a baby there were no signing classes in my area which I could go to. I loved signing with him and found it very rewarding. When my daughter came along, I decided to stay at home instead of going back to work. Starting Baby Signing classes had always been in the back of my mind but I was never confident enough to go it alone so I decided taking the franchise route was the best option.

The Baby Sign & Play classes appeal to mums who are eager to sign and to mums who are looking for something a bit different to do with their babies. The resources used are varied and the babies, as well as mums, love the activities, songs and games!

As well as running classes, I have run sessions for Children’s Centres, schools and at local events! These are great fun and I get the chance to meet loads of mums with their delightful babies and have fun while getting paid!  

Now that my daughter is getting older, I also run the Jittabugs classes. She loves it! It is an exciting, enjoyable and fun class to run. (I think I enjoy it as much as the kids do!) The lesson plans are included and Caroline is always on hand with help and advice as well as great ideas.  I’m looking forward to starting another term of classes in September.

As a result of working within the franchise, I am doing a job I love, teaching something I strongly believe in and am able to take my daughter with me so no childcare costs either! It has certainly helped boost my confidence too.

The success Caroline has had with her classes is an inspiration & motivation too!
