The MumsClub awards are now into their third year! It all started as an online event for forum members in 2008, moving to a full presentation at the 2009 Mumpreneur Conference and now, for 2010, the awards are taking place at a grand event to mark the end of the year. The event will be a complete celebration of mum-owned businesses but with a typical (unique!) MumsClub surprise to proceedings... details to be announced soon.
The 2010 mumandworking awards Rewards and recognises the companies and individuals that make flexible working possible and show that family-friendly employment not only supports family life but give real benefits to the companies involved. Nominations open until 31st July 2010
MumsClub PR Challenge 2010 The second annual challenge is well under way. You can enter right up until the deadline, as long as you have evidence of your PR prowess from the last 12 months!
Remote worker awards The Remote Worker Awards, in association with BT Business is the only business awards featuring remote and home working. It offers employers the chance to be recognised for their flexible working solutions. It also gives employees the chance to shine amongst their peers as the best remote and home based workers. The Awards aim to identify the most deserving individuals and businesses who support this unique method of working. Entries close on the 31st July
The NatWest everywoman Awards There’s just one month left for the UK’s most inspirational female entrepreneurs to enter the prestigious NatWest everywoman Awards. Open for entries until Friday 30 July.
Cosmopolitan Ultimate woman of the Year awards Nominations for Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Woman of the Year Awards 2010 are now open. For the fifth year running, the awards will be honouring women (and men!) from across the country for their incredible achievements. The categories are open, meaning that if you know of any exceptional men or women who deserve Cosmopolitan’s top accolade - whatever area they excel in - they can be nominated. We are particularly keen to hear about people who have had a real impact on young women’s lives, although there is no age limit for nominees.
To help you wrack your brains, these are the kind of stories we are looking for: Someone who has fearlessly stepped out of their comfort zone to help others, either in the UK or abroad, and inspired young women along the way...Friends who have used their amazing bond as a force for good; or family members who have supported each other through good times and bad...An amazing love story of a couple who have battled the odds, and together have won...A survivor who has faced their battle with positivity and courage and also enhanced the lives of others...A role model who has achieved an extraordinary feat of endurance, while helping or inspiring women.
